This is a hands-on role, focused on core Java development and custom connectors, not consulting or advisory only.

You'll join a hybrid team based in Reston, VA, and work directly on mission-critical IAM systems, onboarding applications into SailPoint and helping secure enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement custom SailPoint integrations and application onboarding solutions using Java, Beanshell, Python, and related tools.

Build and configure IAM capabilities including SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM, and protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.

Lead hands-on development efforts, especially around connector customization and enterprise IAM infrastructure.

Develop and maintain operational documentation, support systems configurations, and collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives.

Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical leadership, and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) implementation aligned with frameworks such as NIST and CIS.

Participate in team planning, vendor interaction, and stakeholder presentations.

Ideal Candidate Profile: 10+ years in IT with strong hands-on Java development and full lifecycle SailPoint integration experience.

3+ years experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow, including application onboarding (SaaS, Cloud, on-prem). Strong scripting proficiency: Java, Python, Beanshell.

Demonstrated experience creating custom connectors in SailPoint.

Knowledge of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC) and enterprise auth mechanisms (SSO, MFA, PAM). Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Effective communicator with experience in leading or mentoring teams.

Familiar with compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS). SailPoint certification a plus.

PMP, CISSP, or cloud certifications a bonus.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). Must be hands-on with core Java (strong technical screening required). No "consultants" or pure advisory applicants - hands-on development is essential.

Must be local to Reston, VA or willing to relocate prior to start (company will assist with relocation). Work Authorization: U.S.

Citizen or Green Card preferred.
