Linux Engineer with Security Clearance

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer with experience in RedHawk Linux and kernel-level development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based systems, ensuring high performance and reliability for mission-critical applications. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Linux Development:** Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules and drivers, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

- Utilize RedHawk Linux for real-time system applications, ensuring ultra-low latency and high precision.

- System Design and Implementation:Design and implement Linux-based solutions, including server configurations, network setups, and security protocols.

- Monitor system performance using tools like Splunk, Rancher, and AWS EC2, and implement improvements as needed.

- Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and resolve complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.

- Manage Docker and container instances, optimizing resource allocation and performance.

- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).

- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, development processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support overall infrastructure and business needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux engineering, with a focus on kernel development and RedHawk Linux. Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+ are preferred.
