**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing machines for shift start-up or product change, operating auxiliary equipment, and ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. You will troubleshoot equipment as needed and assist higher-level operators while performing various tasks within the production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and operate processing equipment for production with minimal supervision.
+ Utilize measuring equipment to ensure quality specifications are met.
+ Assist in training lower-level operators and support higher-level operators.
+ Operate material handling and processing equipment for production and replenishment of raw materials.
+ Update shop floor management system and CIP boards as necessary.
+ Identify and assist with equipment malfunctions and repairs.
+ Communicate effectively with process and tooling technicians to assist with root cause analysis.
+ Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
+ Visually check workstations for supplies and transport materials as needed.
+ Notify supervisors when supplies reach reorder levels.
+ Test and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
+ Report non-conforming products and perform necessary procedures.
+ Input accurate data into the quality control system.
+ Identify raw materials that do not meet quality requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of basic reading, writing, and arithmetic.
+ Good manual dexterity skills, working with very small parts.
+ Ability to perform repetitive functions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
+ Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 6-12 months of related experience.
+ Manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly is beneficial.
+ Familiarity with brake press and punch press operations is a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
