**Job Description**

Join our dynamic team as a Technician, where you will play a crucial role in our Distribution Warehouse. This entry-level position involves accurately cutting wire to meet customer order specifications and supporting various warehouse operations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Review and interpret detailed wire order requirements from pick tickets, including specifications such as wire gauge size, cut length, conductor type, jacketing type, and color.

+ Efficiently operate wire machines to pull and measure wire lengths as per customer specifications.

+ Validate machine measurements against printed sequential footage readings on the cable.

+ Execute clean and precise wire cuts at specified lengths.

+ Securely install and crimp pulling heads to wire when required.

+ Inspect, package, wrap, and label finished products to maintain internal quality standards.

+ Monitor wire stocks, ensure conformance to specifications, and address stock discrepancies following established procedures.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, including bins, aisles, machines, and personal workspaces.

+ Adhere to all company safety guidelines, ensure safe forklift operations, and participate in mandatory safety meetings.

+ Engage in continuous learning regarding wire applications and various electrical products.

+ Execute any other duties as assigned and work overtime when necessary.

**Essential Skills**

+ Detail-oriented and thorough in execution.

+ Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as a team player.

+ Basic understanding of electrical components and inventory management.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Prior experience in the Electrical Distribution or Construction Industry is an advantage.

+ Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

+ Ability to look at directions and follow direction.

+ Have safety toe shoes or steel toe boots.

**Work Environment**

Work in a warehouse environment, both indoors and outdoors, which is non-temperature controlled. Expect exposure to dust and heat. The role requires working Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Physical demands include repetitive use of hands, climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending, stretching, and lifting heavy items.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, Nevada.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
