Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Full Stack Developer
In this role, seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses leadership, technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the wholesale brokerage insurance industry preferred. The individual is expected to understand requirements, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications to ensure a quality solution delivery. Effective collaboration with the business users, IT, and various stakeholders is required. Serves as mentor, advisor and guide to the team of Developers and Sr Devs.
Responsibilities
• Serve as a Senior Dev to design, customize, and implement IT solutions for wholesale brokerage platforms within the organization.
• Maintains familiarity with new development tools and techniques for systems analysis, design, and development.
• Develop and review solution architecture, design and code.
• Ability to review and rationally analyze requirements in a timely manner.
• Research and propose solutions for cloud data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration.
• Work closely with lead architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates and build/operational documents.
• Work with DevOps and engineering teams to develop service catalogs.
• Develop an understanding of existing client IT applications while actively searching for improvement areas.
• Streamline workflows and process optimization by implementing inventive technical solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs.
• Deep hands-on experience with multiple development approaches, pattern and architecture means to implement solution. Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems.
• Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns.
• Enhance cloud capability by creating and implementing cloud application patterns.
• Lead and guide development & support teams. Mentor team members. Technical/ functional guidance on the app
• Orchestrate work prioritization, scheduling and allocation for the rest of the Service Provider team.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• BE/ B Tech/ MCA
• Must have professional development and applications architecture experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Familiarity with a variety of both legacy and modern coding languages, frameworks and patterns. MUST Have: Typescript, PHP, XML, NodeJS, Postgres, PubSub, GCP, Terra form for GCP, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Azure Cloud, MicroServices, APIs. Good To HAVE: Experience of SQL, T-SQL, MongoDB and Java.
• Solid experience working in Agile environment. Both Scrum and Kanban.
• Solid Understanding of Web applications, cloud managed services, service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions, microservices, containers, API development and managed databases
• Hands on experience designing and developing new features.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Hands on experience with Jira, Confluence, Service Now, ITIL tools and process framework
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$55,000 to $68,500]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
