• Years of Experience Required: 5+ overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: Minimum BS in Computer/Software Engineering or related field.

• Disqualifiers: lack of experience in the tech industry. 18 months access only.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience with embedded firmware experience

• minimum 5 years experience with intel UEFI work

• minimum 3 years experience with GIT experience

• Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will be 1-2 rounds.

• Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should be prepared to speak on prior experience and resume on assessment.

UEFI SW Developer Role:

Looking for a talented UEFI engineers to deliver great customer experiences. As a UEFI engineer the candidate will take bug repro’s and autonomously debug and find root cause and deliver high quality fixed code – across Surfaces complete in market product portfolio.

The candidate will have the opportunity work with the Post Launch Engineering Dev team as well as other PLE teams, Surface UEFI engineers, electrical engineers, system engineers, architects and other software engineers to find and fix problems that are affecting our Surface customers
