Volt is immediately hiring seasonal SUMMER STUDENT LABORERS at a manufacturing company in Buffalo, Iowa.

As a Summer Student Laborer, you will report to the Production Department and be assigned jobs related to cleaning, painting, and general facility maintenance of the plant.

Cleaning and painting assigned areas.

Use of hand tools, jack hammer and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Administrative tasks, filing, shredding, organizing, some computer tasks, etc

Performs all tasks in a safe and professional manner in conformance with plant rules, safety standards and company policies.

This is a full time opportunity.

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Monday-Friday for the summer months of June - August

The ideal candidate will have:

Must be 18 years old.

Enrolled as a college student, vocational trade school; or military in 2025/2026

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
