Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler with a minimum of 1 year of assembly experience to join our team. This role involves assembling and installing parts using hand tools, air tools, and power tools according to work instructions and specifications. The ideal candidate will be open to working the second shift from 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install parts using hand tools, air tools, and power tools according to work instructions and specifications.

Fit, wire, or otherwise connect components using equipment according to work instructions and specifications.

Attend to equipment and ensure proper operation; participate in the implementation of production equipment and facility maintenance.

Perform routine inspections on products, processes, and materials to ensure work output meets specifications.

Identify and correct potentially unsafe situations or notify the Production Group Lead about unsafe or emergency situations and recommend corrective measures.Essential Skills

1+ year of assembly experience.

Experience with hand tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Ability to assemble using blueprints or following work instructions.

High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, industrial environment with approximately 10 workstations, collaborating with 3-4 team members in a medium-sized warehouse. The facility is completely enclosed except for two open shipping and receiving doors. Dress code includes a plain black t-shirt provided after the first few weeks, jeans (blue, khaki, or black), and tennis shoes. Standing is required 100% of the time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
