Job Description

Adecco is hiring Precision Mold Toolmakers for our client in Wheeling, IL. Precision Mold Toolmakers do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with rates starting at $30.00-$41.00/hr., plus available overtime. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain conventional and specialized machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts, and fit and assemble machined components into complete units using your knowledge of machine shop theory, procedures, and applied mathematics.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

3+ years of trade school or equivalent work experience required

Experience operating mold machinery is required

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required for job instructions, safety protocols, and collaboration

Strong understanding of basic mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry

Proficient in applying mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world tasks

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, safety regulations, and procedure manuals

Skilled in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing logical conclusions from technical information

Comfortable following instructions delivered in various formats, including written, verbal, schematic, and schedule-based

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule:

Mon-Friday 6am-2:20pm

Please note: This is a short-term, summer assignment expected to run through the end of August.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $41.00 per hour
