We are seeking dedicated coating operators to join our team. This role involves the operation of machinery to produce adhesive products, ensuring quality standards are met. The position requires a focus on teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery to load jumbo rolls, adjust machine components, and slit and rewind adhesive products.
Obtain and follow work orders from the supervisor and label products and cartons.
Pack products into correct corrugate packaging.
Ensure timely production of quality products according to established standards.
Ensure operations perform in accordance with ISO procedures.
Acquire materials specified in the work order and set up equipment for manufacturing.
Perform safety checks and inspections prior to startup.
Document all required information following inventory procedures.
Inspect finished products for defects and manage scrap.
Perform minor maintenance duties and repairs as needed.
Maintain cell and department housekeeping standards.
Promote teamwork within the department.Essential Skills
Experience in coating, machine operation, assembly, press brake, inspection, and production line.
Ability to operate as production operator, technician, coating technician, laminator, slitter operator, and extrusion operator.
Experience in general labor and machine operating.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proven ability to work as a team within a diverse workforce in a manufacturing environment.
At least 6 months of operating experience preferred; mechanical skills are essential if lacking experience.
Basic mathematical skills, proficiency in fractions.
Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail.
Must have static dissipative safety shoes, especially in the coating department.
Flexibility to move to a Tuesday-Friday schedule.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The production environment is clean yet loud. In wet areas, employees must wear a hair net and be clean-shaven. The schedule runs from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday to Thursday, with a 10% differential. Training will occur on the first shift for up to six months.

Tuesday-Friday, 6 pm to 6 am (48 hours a week, built in overtime) Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
