Job Title: Low Voltage DAS Installer – Data Center Support

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Installer to join our growing team supporting mission-critical data center environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low voltage systems, particularly DAS, and a strong understanding of structured cabling, RF signal distribution, and installation best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, coaxial) for DAS systems in data center environments.
Mount and secure DAS components including antennas, splitters, couplers, and head-end equipment.
Perform signal testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization using RF test equipment.
Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, building codes, and customer specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely project completion.
Document installation progress, test results, and as-built configurations.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in low voltage or DAS installation (data center experience preferred).
Familiarity with DAS OEMs such as Commscope, Corning, JMA, or SOLiD.
Proficient with RF test tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, PIM testers, sweep testers).
Ability to work in high-security environments and follow strict access protocols.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, high-security data center environments.
May require travel to multiple sites.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
