Job Description
Adecco has partnered with their client and is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistants to support our virtual card payment program. This role involves collaborating with suppliers to facilitate their enrollment in our virtual card system, ensuring seamless transactions and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a foundational understanding of the procurement process.
Contract Duration: 3-6 months with potential for extension based on project needs.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Remote. Possibly one day in the office/week.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the onboarding of suppliers to the virtual card payment platform through US Bank.
Communicate with suppliers to provide information and resolve inquiries related to the virtual card transactions.
Coordinate with the internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of virtual card payments.
Maintain and update supplier records, ensuring date integrity within the procurement system.
Monitor transaction statuses and address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Support the procurement team with general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent associate or bachelors degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Accounts Payable is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with procurement or accounting software systems.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations and contribute to the efficiency of our virtual card payment program.
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
