Document Management Specialist

Company: LHH Recruitment Solutions on behalf of our client

Location: Batesville, Indiana

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $16 to $19 per hour

Job Summary:

The Document Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing company documents, ensuring adherence to record retention policies, safeguarding information, and enhancing data retrieval processes.

Responsibilities:

Document Storage and Management: Store, manage, and track company documents.

Document Imaging: Scan, image, organize, and maintain documents.

Document Retrieval: Control the retrieval of documents.

Request Processing: Receive and process Requests for Information (RFIs) from employees or clients, maintaining tracking logs.

Information Search: Search electronic databases or manual sources for information.

User Consultation: Consult with end users regarding issues accessing electronic content.

Automated Data Entry: Perform scanning and other automated data entry procedures using imaging devices and document imaging software.

Document Classification: Identify and classify documents or electronic content according to form type or other characteristics.

Policy Assembly: Assemble policy pages to be mailed to consumers.

Mailroom Services: Act as a back-up for mailroom services, including running postage machines and prepping envelopes for FedEx, UPS, certified mail, etc.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently or with a small team.

Excellent attendance.

Ability to work overtime.

Ability to pivot between multiple priorities.

Able to lift approximately 20 lbs multiple times throughout the day.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour
