Job Description

**Plumbing Assembler – 4 DAY WEEK - $25/Hour**

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $20 - $25/Hour (Depending on experience & shift!)

Hours: Multiple shifts available!

As a Plumbing Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling plumbing systems for specialty firetrucks. Your duties will include the installation of various components such as heat exchangers, master drains, primer controls, manual pump shifts, and discharge systems. You will also be responsible for cutting, threading, and bending pipes, as well as joining pipes using various methods.

Responsibilities:

Install heat exchange not already installed with value

Install master drain

Install primer control

Install manual pump shift

Install discharge, R&L rear and front bumpers

Install bleeder drains

Connect lines to gauge panel

Self-check work

Meet production goals

Cut and thread pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine

Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand

Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints

Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes

Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks

Skills:

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Experience in plumbing

Knowledge of plumbing/fire protection

Ability to handle cutting tools and boiler systems

Skill in installation, threading, and cutting

Motivated and hardworking

Team-oriented with great attendance and longevity

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Plumbing experience preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
