Job Title: Overhead Crane Technician

Job Description

As an Overhead Crane Technician, you will be responsible for servicing existing overhead cranes. You will use hand tools and power tools to troubleshoot and identify problems with cranes, fixing them on-site whenever possible. If parts need to be ordered, you will return to the site to complete the repair. Expect to visit multiple sites in a day and work at heights using a scissor lift regularly.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot overhead cranes to determine and fix problems.

Use hand and power tools effectively.

Order parts and return to site for repairs if necessary.

Work at heights using a scissor lift.

Travel to multiple sites daily.Essential Skills

3 years of experience with overhead cranes.

Comfortable working at heights.

Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.

Control systems expertise.

Maintenance and electrical experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Mechanical experience for servicing overhead cranes.

Ability to conduct quality checks.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Work within a family-owned crane company, manufacturing overhead cranes. You will be part of the service tech department, traveling to clients to service cranes. Collaborate closely with a service technician who will drive and mentor you in crane servicing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Colorado.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
