We are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to spearhead new client acquisition efforts within the Private Equity sector.

The Opportunity
This position is ideally suited for a senior-level, consultative seller with a strong network in Private Equity and a track record of originating and closing complex, high-value consulting engagements. As the front-line revenue generator, you’ll own the go-to-market strategy and client engagement process within the PE vertical—working closely with both internal delivery experts and external C-suite decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of business development within the Private Equity segment
Originate, develop, and manage relationships with PE operating partners, managing directors, and portfolio company executives
Collaborate with an internal Business Development Associate for lead generation, research, and appointment setting
Partner with senior delivery leaders to understand client pain points and craft tailored, outcome-focused solutions
Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, driving consistent growth against quarterly and annual revenue goals
Represent the firm at key client meetings, industry events, and portfolio site visits (40–50% travel expected once fully ramped)
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in consultative sales, ideally in operations, supply chain, or transformation consulting
Deep familiarity with the Private Equity ecosystem, including strong relationships with PE firm stakeholders and portfolio executives
Credibility with C-suite buyers and the ability to navigate complex buying processes
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to convey differentiated value propositions
Self-motivated and autonomous; thrives in a remote environment with minimal oversight
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client-facing activities
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience selling into private equity firms that have portfolios made up of industrial, manufacturing, chemicals, aerospace, or consumer product companies
Exposure to operational due diligence or post-acquisition transformation initiatives
Strategic mindset with fluency in both commercial and delivery models
Compensation and Incentives
Base Salary: Low to mid $200Ks
Incentives: Uncapped commissions with total earnings potential of $700K to $1M+, commensurate with performance
Support Infrastructure: Includes a dedicated Business Development Associate, marketing resources, and solution delivery experts
