Lumber and Building Materials Service Counter Sales Associate

Job Description

Applicant MUST have previous hands on experience in the building material/lumber sales, construction industry or equivalent. A&R Building Supply is seeking a Service Counter associate. This candidate should be a hardworking, hands on individual with knowledge of lumber, hardware, and building materials who knows how to use the tools they are selling to the customer and direct them through basic home repairs. Please be advised we are open seven days a week and weekends are necessary.

Qualifications:

Must have previous hands on experience in the building material/ lumber sales, construction industry or equivalent

Strong organizational and communication skills, conflict resolution, and problem solving ability

Customer Service experience a musst

Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus, but basic computer knowledge is needed

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and weekends

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Drivers License

Walk and stand on the job for extended periods of time

Frequently bend, squat, lift, reach, push, and pull as necessaryCompany Description
