CAD Designer Drafter

Job Description

System One is seeking multiple CAD designers for our clients in Coraopolis PA.

Position: CAD Designer - Waste Water: (4 days in office with 1 day remote)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist project engineers by creating design files for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities

Utilize Civil 3D to model surfaces, alignments, profiles, site grading, and pipe networks

Follow corporate and client standards for drafting and documentation

Collaborate on permitting, construction, and field coordination tasks

Requirements:

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.

Understanding of municipal infrastructure design principles, especially related to linear utilities and site civil development.

Position: CAD Designer - Mechanical/Structural Design

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D/3D drawings for mechanical equipment, piping, ductwork, foundations, and steel structures

Develop models and layouts using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD

Generate bills of materials and as-built drawings

Conduct drawing checks for dimensional accuracy and constructability

Work closely with engineers to resolve design issues and ensure project efficiency

Requirements:

Associate degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field

3–5 years of relevant design/drafting experience in civil, mechanical, or structural disciplines

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) and Inventor 3D

Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams
