3rd Shift Machine Cell Operator

Job Description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with the #1 aluminum knuckle manufacturer in the world, located in Auburn, Indiana, is looking for Machine Cell Operators. All Machine Cell Operators perform duties to operate CNC machine, secondary equipment, wash, inspect, and pack parts in accordance with quality specifications. Train other team members in cell expectations. Additional responsibilities are dependent on the level of the operator.

$17.50/hr.

1st shift - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

2nd shift - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

3rd shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Machine Cell Operator Responsibilities:

Machine Cell Operator will load, unload, and blow off aluminum castings.

Use basic gauging and measuring equipment.

Deburr parts using handheld deburring and power tools.

Wash parts using automatic or manual washing equipment.

Machine Cell Operator will document machine process using SPC.

Prepare required production and quality control reports.

Perform machine specific TPM requirements.

Machine Cell Operator Requirements:

6 months to 1 year of experience operating CNC and secondary machines.

Familiarity with quality control gauges

Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 pounds regularly.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
