Job Description
OVERVIEW:
This position carries out responsibilities in the area of human resources and risk management.
Essential Functions
1. Responsible for gathering all initial facts of a workplace incident and reports the claim to the carrier.
2. Gathers post-accident investigative details and reports to assigned adjuster.
3. Prepares post-accident drug test, gathers the results, and reports these to the carrier.
4. Follows up with the business unit to get the team member’s post-accident health status and sends return to work notice if light duty can be accommodated.
5. Reports all liability incidents ensuring all the relevant information is collected and preserved for carrier reference.
6. Responsible for gathering critical details for all liability incidents such as statements, videos, and inspection records to provide to adjusters upon request.
7. Manages day-to-day interaction with business unit leaders, adjusters, and attorney representatives to gather and provide necessary information for the handling of all liability claims.
8. Assists with internal communication and strategies related to all risk management initiatives.
9. Prepares monthly communication related to incident prevention and mitigation strategies.

5. Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
6. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
7. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience preferably in Human Resources, risk management, or a combination of both education and experience.
2. Proficiency in MS Office.
3. Ability to handle sensitive confidential information. Works with sense of urgency with a focus on accurate and high quality work product.
