POSITION TITLE: Quality Assurance Lab Manager

SUMMARY:

Oversees daily operations of the microbiology and chemistry lab, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Maintains lab certifications, supervises lab personnel, and supports facility-wide quality systems.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field (preferred)

2–5 years of quality assurance or laboratory experience

Knowledge of ISO 17025 and lab certification processes

Proficient in microbial and chemical testing methods

Experience with regulatory documentation and proficiency testing

Strong leadership and team training skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

Analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work extended hours when neededCompany Description
