Internet Installer
Job Summary
Installs and repairs Internet service.
General Accountabilities
Travels to customers' premises to install, maintain or repair equipment.
Sets up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment.
Inspects or tests fiber to locate any faults or malfunctions.
Splices fiber, using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment.
Measures signal strength, using test equipment.
Place insulation over conductors or seal splices with moisture-proof covering.
Strings fiber between structures and lines and pulls lines to proper tension.
Installs equipment to maintain the strength of communications transmissions.

Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: A few months to one year of related experience
