Communicate effectively with utilities, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), consultants, and EPCs to drive projects towards construction.
Represent the company at external meetings and during site visits.
Contribute to RFP responses and develop comprehensive engineering scopes for EPC contracts.
What We're Looking For:
4+ years of experience in renewable energy, preferably with standalone BESS or hybrid systems.
A strong understanding of utility interconnection processes within NY/Northeast markets.
Experience in reviewing electrical design packages and coordinating with consulting firms.
Familiarity with medium-voltage substation equipment and electrical distribution systems.
A proactive mindset aimed at project engineering leadership and on-site execution.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably electrical) or equivalent military experience.
Proficiency in modeling tools such as PVSyst, PVCASE, ETAP, CYME, and Helioscope is advantageous.
