Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC5, ControlLogix 5000, and panel views
Proficient in Allen Bradley Communications-Device Net and Ethernet
Familiarity with scanning and optimization systems in the lumber industry (Baxley, USNR)
Knowledge of process network communication systems including Ethernet & Fiber Optic
Your Required Skills:
A High School Diploma or GED is essential
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
Self-starter capable of working safely in high-pressure situations
Inspecting and testing electrical systems and circuits
Identifying hazards, defects, or repairs in electrical systems, components, or equipment
Troubleshooting and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Communicating with vendors to source necessary parts and making recommendations
Understanding and updating instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Programming both AC & DC variable speed drivers
Updating power distribution systems, Motor Control Centers (MCC), and switch gears
Installing electrical equipment
Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Electrician experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting
