We are seeking an Onsite Desktop/End User Support Technician to provide technical support to users at a secure facility. This full-time, on-site role where the technician will support and maintain desktop systems, applications, and peripherals, helping resolve technical issues to keep end-users productive with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in person or via phone/ticketing system.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems and common business applications.

Support user accounts, password resets, and group memberships in Active Directory.

Perform equipment upgrades, imaging, and file backups.

Document issue details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary.

Access knowledge bases, drivers, and updates to resolve issues efficiently.

Develop and maintain end-user documentation and knowledge base articles.

Comply with site security protocols, including TWIC card verification procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

Valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)

2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience.

Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).

Strong hardware troubleshooting and repair skills.

Experience with Active Directory user account support.

Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred:

Associate’s Degree or technical training in IT-related field.

CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certifications.

Experience supporting industrial or secure environments.
