MTAC is actively recruiting for part-time Unarmed security officers in the Frederick, MD area. Compensation for this position is 18.00/hour. Applicants must meet the below qualifications and requirements to considered for any position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities May Include
Facility patrols
Assisting employees and visitors
Responding to alarms
Report writing
Adherence to all applicable rules and regulations
Perform duties in a professional manner
Maintain situational awareness
Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands
May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area
Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)
Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift, run as needed
Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
Frequent moving and/or lifting
Minimum Qualifications
United States citizenship
High school diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
Reliable method of transportation
Eligible for Maryland Security Guard Card
Pass drug screening and background investigation
A reasonable level of physical fitness
Knowledge of, or ability to learn security operations and procedures
Ability to read and write the English language fluently
Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
Ability to adapt to changes in the environment and organization
Education Requirements (All)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
This job reports to the Supervisor
This is a Part-Time position Weekends, As needed.
