Roles & Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts, including the development of experimental components.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to configure machines accurately.
Use CAM software to model cutting paths and generate precise machine programs.
Develop and machine first article prototypes to ensure alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
Adjust machine settings and tool paths to enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
Select appropriate tools and settings for various materials based on job requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues during operations.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacing cutting fluids.
Implement preventative measures to minimize machine downtime.
Accurately record production data and progress on In-Process Travelers.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Mastercam is required.
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) is required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in machine operations.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
