RF Microwave Technician

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform prep work and basic parts testing in support of RF/Microwave component development, consistent with a technician with 0-3 years of experience.

Conduct tuning and testing of RF and Microwave components, with a focus on high-volume production lots.

Read and interpret specifications to accurately test incoming parts in the lab.

Ensure proper and safe use of all lab equipment, including acquiring proficiency with new tools as they are introduced.

Collaborate with the Assembly team to support rework of components as needed.

Coordinate with the Lead Technician on daily tasks and troubleshooting activities.

Track and report daily production output, including tuned parts count and time spent.

Complete and sign off on travelers as required.

May serve as Team Leader for specific product group assignments, when applicable.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience in tuning RF/Microwave filters.

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) is required.

High school diploma required.

Ability to read specifications and perform component-level testing.

Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
