Job Title: Cisco Network Engineer

Location: 3 days/week on- site in EITHER Irvine, CA or San Antonio, TX

Work Hours: 6am-3pm PST (occasional nights & weekends may be required periodically)

Job Duration: On-going contract

Interview Process: 2 rounds --> Offer!

Pay: $50-60/hr

Must Haves:

- 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer

- Hands on experience with refreshing Cisco IOS-XE and NX-

OS software operating systems

- CCNA

Day-to-Day:

A large financial institution is looking for a mid-level network engineer to join their team in either the Irvine, CA office or the San Antonio, TX office. This role will be requiring some work to be done outside of normal business hours such as night times or weekends (there will be time off during the week to compensate). This person will be required to go into the office 3 days per week.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions, but not limited to:

Under general supervision, directly contribute to the implementation and operation of Network-Core technology solutions -- Primary project will be lifecycle efforts with Cisco software but may extend to other related work.

-Participates in project planning calls to receive guidance and direction on upcoming tasks.

-Adheres to rigorous release and change management processes.

-Executes change controls to deploy, update and/or maintain Network-Core infrastructure including but not limited to the below technologies:

Cisco Route/Switch

Firewall

VPN

Wireless

Full-time
