Job Summary:
Join our innovative Medicare Stars Member Experience Data Science team as an Application Developer. In this role, you will develop and maintain interactive web-based applications and dashboards, leveraging tools like Dash Enterprise or React, to deliver actionable insights and data visualizations for key stakeholders. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to translate complex datasets into intuitive and impactful user interfaces that empower decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your technical skills while contributing to initiatives that improve member experience and drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain scalable web applications and dashboards using Dash Enterprise or React frameworks.
Collaborate with data science and business teams to design user-friendly interfaces that effectively communicate data insights.
Ensure applications are secure, optimized, and meet usability standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
Contribute to the design and implementation of front-end and back-end application components.
Document processes, workflows, and technical designs to support project development and knowledge sharing.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web application development and visualization.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in developing applications using Dash Enterprise or React.
Strong knowledge of front-end development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Python, especially in the context of integrating with Dash applications.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services.
Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g., Plotly, D3.js, or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing dashboards or visualizations for business intelligence or data science teams.
Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and tools (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, such as Git.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
Previous experience in healthcare or Medicare-related projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
