Zayo is seeking a SLED (State, Local, and Education) Order Experts Manager to support Zayo’s SLED vertical. The SLED Order Experts Manager is entrusted with driving strategic initiatives that enable seamless order management while ensuring that every process aligns with the unique demands of the E-Rate and SLED sales cycles. With a focus on process improvement, change management, and system optimization-including Microsoft Dynamics—this individual will be instrumental in elevating both team performance and the customer experience.
Beyond day-to-day operations, the SLED Order Experts Manager will champion efforts that promote efficiency, accountability, and collaboration across the organization, ensuring that Zayo’s order management functions remain scalable, adaptable, and aligned with evolving business priorities. This role offers high visibility across leadership teams and provides an exciting opportunity to influence the direction of the SLED vertical within a rapidly growing business environment. The SLED Order Experts Manager leads strategic initiatives that support key business verticals and ensures operational excellence while identifying new opportunities to drive bookings, revenue growth, and workflow enhancements across order management.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the SLED Order Experts team to drive core processes and ensure exceptional internal customer experiences.
Support associated sales and SE teams with prioritization of escalations and critical sales/product requests.
Establish team performance metrics, goals, and accountability.
Act as the primary project lead for M&A initiatives and key operational projects.
Ensure data integrity across Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and other systems of record.
Champion change management efforts to drive operational improvements and process automation.
Develop methodologies for tracking and reporting on key performance metrics.
Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on order processes and entrance criteria.
Partner with sales operations and training teams to support onboarding and continuous learning on order management workflows.
Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of telecom operations, with a strong understanding of E-Rate and SLED-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Order Management, Sales Operations.
SLED/E-Rate sales cycle support experience required.
Proven leadership abilities with a minimum of 3+ years of management experience; seeking a true leader who can inspire, guide, and elevate team.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce.
Strong background in change management and process improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive operational improvements, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
Telecom industry experience preferred.
Estimated Base Pay Range: $75,200 - $101,950 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
