As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in our organization by building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You'll be the face of Ascend Staffing, bringing our brand to life with class and integrity, all while dishing out tailored solutions that meet our client's staffing needs.

Outside Sales Representative Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative is responsible for finding new clients for our rapidly growing business. You'll be involved in each stage of the B2B selling process: from lead generation, to prospect cultivation, to presentations and proposals.

Outside Sales Representative Duties / Responsibilities
Build and foster a network of leads within the designated territory
Generate and develop new prospect accounts
Use sales management software tools to track KPIs including sales calls made, number of prospect contacts made, and presentations given
Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and /or reports
Manage schedule efficiently with physical visits to prospects and clients
Assist in creating RFP responses to prospects
Attend weekly Sales Manager meetings
Outside Sales Representative Requirements
One year of B2B sales experience
Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales quotas
Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time and territory management
Success in qualifying prospects involving multiple key decision-makers
Strong knowledge of outside sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
Strong problem-identification and objection-resolution skills
Exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
Knowledge of the staffing industry is a plus
Bilingual a plus
Outside Sales Representative Working Conditions
Frequent field travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day
Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct presentations
May work above 40 hours per week as required
Mileage reimbursement will be provided, according to company policy
