Your Role:
Provide expert project engineering support to ensure the delivery of high-quality life science projects.
Lead complex project workstreams, ensuring completion within budget, scope, and schedule.
Collaborate effectively with site, project, and construction teams to make informed decisions.
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks. Implement solutions and escalate challenges as needed.
Maintain active communication and manage stakeholder relationships in your areas of responsibility.
Who You Are:
Located in St. Louis, MO or open to traveling to St. Louis, MO and working on-site Monday through Friday.
Holds at least a Bachelor of Science in engineering, preferably in mechanical, chemical, or electrical disciplines.
Boasts a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated project execution experience, particularly in capital project and construction roles.
Possesses experience with life science capital projects, including the design and construction of clean rooms and classified spaces (grade C/D), as well as qualification and validation processes.
Has expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
Holds a solid understanding of regulations, standards, and cGMPs relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Exhibits strong leadership abilities, relationship-building skills, and adept negotiation techniques.
Demonstrates exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, particularly in matrix environments, with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
Can effectively gather customer requirements, translating them into precise specifications, and communicate project decisions clearly to stakeholders while maintaining positive relationships.
Exhibits independence in owning workstreams through effective scheduling, decision-making, and diligent documentation.
A critical thinker who evaluates multiple solutions considering safety, quality, budget, and risks.
A skilled problem solver who identifies challenges, develops effective solutions, and makes timely decisions.
Experienced in reviewing and addressing construction submittals and RFIs while managing scope changes based on customer input.
Organized and proficient in establishing processes to effectively manage workstreams.
