Bedsore.Law is growing and seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Paralegal to join our litigation team remotely from anywhere in the United States.
We are a national trial firm focused exclusively on holding nursing homes, hospitals, and long-term care facilities accountable for elder neglect, abuse, and serious injuries—especially pressure injury (bedsore) cases. Our team is passionate, focused, and relentless in the pursuit of justice. Location:
Fully remote or hybrid. Open to candidates nationwide. Experience with California litigation is a plus but not required.
Who You Are:
A paralegal with at least 3 years of litigation experience (personal injury, medical malpractice, or elder abuse preferred)
Proficient in drafting pleadings, subpoenas, discovery, and pre-trial documents
Comfortable using case management software (experience with Filevine is a plus)
Extremely organized, self-motivated, and dependable
Strong writer and communicator, with excellent attention to detail
Experienced in managing deadlines, calendaring, and supporting multiple attorneys
Committed to helping vulnerable populations and ensuring accountability
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from intake to trial
Draft and manage discovery, including responses, subpoenas, and medical record summaries
Maintain organized and accurate case files and document logs
Handle court filings, coordinate service, and track deadlines across jurisdictions
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
Assist in trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and pre-trial filings
