nnnnPosition Summary nnnnnResponsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, and supporting payroll processing and reporting.

Assist with general ledger function.

Generates reports, balances accounts, and supports financial audits.nnnnnnnnnnResponsibilitiesnnnnnPayrollnnMonitors time and attendance system; works with managers to correct exceptions.nTransfer of payroll data to G/L ERP system.nWorks with HRIS team tonno Update employee records as needed.

no Verify and approve new employee tax withholding, direct deposit, and benefit deduction information.nnMonitors Fidelity feedback files for employee-directed changes that impact payroll and updates system as necessary.nProcesses onsite employee vending machine (Micro Mart) transactions.nProcesses and monitors garnishment orders.nProvides intake for employee complaints about incorrect payments; engages internal resources to resolve discrepancies.nReviews and approves tax Forms W-2, 1099, 1095c, and others as required.nPerforms periodical payroll register and GL reconciliation.nnAccountingn· Prepares journal entries by compiling and analyzing transactions and entry requests.n· Documents financial transactions by entering account information.n· Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.n· Maintains accounting controls by complying with department policies and procedures.n· Performs account reconciliation by collecting and analyzing account information.n· Supports month-end and year-end close process.n· Supports external financial statement audits and tax compliance engagements.n· Supports accounting system improvement and implementationn· Performs other accounting tasks as assigned.nnnnnnnnnnQualifications nnnnnEducation:n· Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related field OR equivalent experiencenExperience:n· 2+ years of accounting experience.n· 3+ years' experience as part of Payroll team.nKnowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:nnAccuracy and attention to detail.nWorking Payroll knowledge with a third party payroll processornn· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in enterprise IT environments.nnBasic accounting procedures and principles, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).nExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.nAptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.nReporting SkillsnFinancial statement reportingnFinancial AuditsnExcellent accounting software user and administration skills.nProficiency in Microsoft Officen nnTravel Required: n· Up to 5% travel requirednnEligibility:n· U.S.
