Job Summary
The Admiral's Inn is a year-round hotel located in Ogunquit, ME.
We are looking to add an upbeat Front Desk Agent to our team to manage all aspects of the hotel guest’s experience.
This is a full time position and will be a combination of mornings, afternoons and evenings. Weekends and holidays are included.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of reservations.
Perform all tasks associated with the reservation process; check-in, check-out, room assignments, handling keys, etc.
Manage in person, online and phone reservations
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
Upsell additional services and enhancements, when appropriate
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Other duties and tasks may be assigned to you on a day to day basis.
Qualifications
The following is preferred but not required
Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role, is preferred. We provide extensive training and support.
Experience with hotel reservations software
Customer service experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
