Job Title: CNC Programmer - Turning / Lathe

Location: Union, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes (Turning centers) using MasterCAM·

• Lead and supervise a small team of machinists and operators·

• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications·

• Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes·

• Support manufacturing planning, process improvements, and design modifications

• Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet delivery deadlines

• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining/programming experience in a contract/job shop environment

• Supervisory or team lead experience is essential

• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, especially MasterCAM

• Strong knowledge of turning/lathe operations

• Solid understanding of machining principles, material properties, and tooling

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Company Description
