Customer Service Rep
The Customer Service Rep will report to the Customer Service Manager and will work with all other members of our small business. The candidate must be willing to take responsibility, make important business decisions, and otherwise help to aggressively grow the company. This person must have excellent verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking with customers on the phone. The candidate must be detail oriented and technically minded in order to master our product lines and work effectively with various online tracking systems and accounting/order processing software. Berl's is a small business and it is important that you are open to working across departments and learning and working on other tasks as necessary.
This is an in-person position in our location at 129 Oakpark Dr, Mooresville, NC. We expect to be moving to a new location in 2025 at 168 Thunder Rd, Mooresville, NC, and the position will shift to that location at that time.
Responsibilities include:
Order Processing: Work directly with our customers to take orders over the phone and by email. Process orders in our online systems and oversee that they are shipped to the customers quickly, efficiently and without error. Carefully vet orders to ensure that fraud attempts are detected and avoided.
Parts Sales: Help customers select the correct replacement parts for their products. You will gain familiarity with our products and the vendors who supply them to us, their policies and procedures.
Returns Processing: Process customer returns, working with customers to create an optimal outcome and a positive experience during the return process.
Shipping: Assist with shipping as needed, including shipping of orders for Online Resellers and any International shipments, partial drop ships, and pallet shipments. Utilize critical thinking to reduce costs by comparing rates between carriers. Transfer tracking numbers from warehouse fulfilments into the CRM system, and invoice shipped orders.
Hours: Our standard hours are 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM
Compensation: Salaried position of $50,000 to $55,000 per year depending on relevant experience and education. Eligible for bonus program after 3 months of work.
Paid Time Off: 15 Vacation Days and 3 Personal Days per year. Paid time off for all major holidays.

We are one of the largest distributors of electric hand dryers and drinking fountains in the US. We are known primarily as Berl’s Commercial Supply (Berl’s), and we sell through a number of other brands as well.
Full-time
