Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Agriculture Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. In this traveling role, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a defined geographic region. Your primary focus will be to build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
This position specifically involves selling Camso AG tracks and track components to dealers and other agricultural partners. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required to ensure strong market coverage, consistent customer engagement, and the achievement of sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Territory Management:
Develop a comprehensive territory management plan to identify potential clients, target markets, and growth opportunities.
Regularly travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, conduct sales presentations, and assess market conditions.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential leads and actively pursue opportunities for sales growth.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue generation.
Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client requirements.
Relationship Building:
Build strong and lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
Conduct regular client meetings to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the territory, responding promptly to inquiries and providing timely solutions.
Team Management and Support:
Collaborate with other departments, such as administration and finance, to ensure cohesive sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed business decisions.
Utilize Salesforce.com to effectively manage sales activities, maintain client information, and streamline processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Proven track record of successful sales management, preferably in a traveling sales role.
Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and the ability to drive sales growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative.
Willingness to travel regularly within the specified territory.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
