Skilled Fence Installer & Home Improvement Technician (Tools Truck )

Job Description

We’re hiring a versatile, skilled technician to join our growing team at Swift Home Improvements. We specialize in high-quality fence installations and general home improvement services for homeowners, real estate investors, and property management companies. With fencing season in full swing, we’re booked out and need dependable, experienced help to keep up with demand.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates professionally, and wants consistent work with a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Install wood, aluminum, vinyl, and chain-link fences

Perform general handyman and home improvement work (interior & exterior)

Install garage doors, build closets, hang drywall, paint, install flooring, etc.

Read tape measures, blueprints, and scopes of work accurately

Operate power tools including drills, drivers, circular saws, table saws, etc.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work site

Communicate with project managers and clients respectfully and clearly

Work independently or as part of a small crew

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in fencing and/or general construction

Must have own tools and a reliable work truck

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong knowledge of tools: speed square, level, measuring tape, saws, etc.

Must be punctual, dependable, and professional in appearance and behavior

Ability to work Mon–Sat as needed during peak season

Preferred (but not required):

Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge

Experience leading small teams or working unsupervised

Familiarity with job management apps or the ability to send job photos/updatesCompany Description
