In this role, you will be responsible for:
Performing thorough inspections of assembled parts and components in the production area.
Specifically checking wheels, tires, and components under the hoods of vehicles and stewers.
Conducting inspections of the undercarriage of tractors and other equipment.
Identifying and documenting any defects or deviations from quality standards.
Utilizing various measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and specifications.
Accurately recording inspection results and data using computer systems.
Interpreting and working from blueprints and technical drawings.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Comfortably working in a potentially loud manufacturing environment.
Being able to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a quality inspection or similar role within a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with checking mechanical components, including wheels, tires, and under-hood systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Proficiency in using various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and potentially working in awkward positions (e.g., under vehicles).
Must be comfortable working in a potentially loud environment.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of a 10-year background check.

Must be able to wear steel-toed boots while on the job.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 4:30 PM if overtime is required.
Occasional Saturdays may be required
Compensation:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Full-time
