GCMS Organic Analyst

Seeking to hire a GCMS Organic Analyst for a client in Bartlett, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity with a growing team. Perfect for an analyst ready to expand their technical and scientific skills.

DUTIES

Responsible for the analysis of Soil and Groundwater using standard EPA methods (VOC & SVOC) with high proficiency utilizing GCMS Agilent Masshunter

GCMS (VOA 624 or 8260 & SVOC 625 or 8270)

Functional knowledge and use of Agilent MassHunter

Participate in daily operation of Environmental Soil Laboratory

Analytical Testing & Data Review

GCMS Instrument Calibration & Basic Maintenance

Adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and project objectives

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or higher, 24 credit hours of chemistry required

· 3+ years of direct laboratory experience, : environmental preferred

· Proficiency in Agilent MassHunter & MS Office Required

· EPA Methods using Agilent MassHunter

· Time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills and strong teamwork

· Comfortable working in lab and office settings

ICPMS Inorganic Analyst

DUTIES

Responsible for the analysis of Soil and Groundwater using standard EPA methods (VOC & SVOC) with high proficiency utilizing ICPMS

Metals ICP-MS SW-846 6020 and EPA 200.8

Functional knowledge and use of Agilent MassHunter

Participate in daily operation of Environmental Soil Laboratory

Analytical Testing & Data Review

GCMS Instrument Calibration & Basic Maintenance

Bench chemistry & UV testing using Standard Methods & ASTM

Adhere to quality standards, safety protocols, and project objectives

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or higher, 24 credit hours of chemistry required

· 3+ years of direct laboratory experience; environmental preferred

· Proficiency in Agilent MassHunter & MS Office Required

· EPA Methods using Agilent MassHunter
