We are a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer seeking Maintenance Supervisors to support operations across several facilities in Illinois and Wisconsin. Due to growth and internal promotions, we are actively hiring for multiple supervisor roles to help streamline operations and lead maintenance teams.
What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be hands-on and responsible for directing maintenance operations and personnel to ensure production equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with plant leadership, follow strict safety and GMP protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise maintenance technicians on shift
Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and company standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records for equipment, supplies, and repairs
Coordinate maintenance schedules and manage priorities
Troubleshoot and support repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Support training and development of maintenance staff
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency maintenance needs
Work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 40 ree;F) as required
Your Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
4+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical trades
Prior supervisory or lead experience in maintenance
Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to lift, bend, squat, and stand for long periods
Comfortable working around deli meat and packaging machinery
Technical Experience (Preferred):
Electrical: 3-phase power, drives, print reading
PLCs: Siemens, Allen Bradley, ladder logic
Welding: MIG, TIG, Stick, silver soldering
HVAC systems (ammonia/freon), boilers, compressors
Hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems, general plumbing
Lockout/tagout, confined space, general building maintenance

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually
Schedule: First Shift 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Weekend Straight-Time Opportunities Available
