Job Description
CABVI is seeking Warehouse Supervisor to work under the direct guidance of the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the shipping and receiving operations by providing day-to-day supervision and work direction to warehouse employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Warehouse Operations Manager in the daily departmental operations, ensuring performance meet and exceeds organizational policies, operating procedures, and goals. This is accomplished by measuring and monitoring department quality and production levels and communicating to the department manager operational achievements and deficiencies.

Work with the Warehouse Operations Manager to schedule staff and estimate work hours required to complete daily tasks. Responsible for explaining variances in hours worked and staff productivity.
Conduct daily team huddles focused on safety protocols as well as communicating operational needs for the day and staff responsibilities as developed in tandem with the warehouse management leadership.
Adhere to and monitor all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all. Conduct daily walk throughs to inspect and report to management the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment to ensure the warehouse meets all regulatory and safety requirements.
Promote warehouse safety by ensuring that all warehouse workers are properly outfitted with safety shoes and other required PPE, operating equipment safely, and functioning in a safe manner with daily tasks.
Work with the inventory systems manager to accurately identify, count, and record physical inventories. Assist in monthly cycle counts, as needed. Ensure we are following the correct production rotation utilizing the FIFO system.
Under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, assist in the training and development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and providing ongoing feedback, as needed.
Work together with the quality control team to submit documents and resolve any matters associated with warehouse functions.
Assist Warehouse Operations Manager with employee relations issues, interviewing, and onboarding employees, as needed.
Work with warehouse management to coordinate product/material needs and movement for inbound, outbound and between buildings.
Participate in cross-functional teams to promote organization process improvements and service excellence.
Fulfill ISO standards and policies. Work together with the quality control team to submit documents and resolve any matters associated with warehouse functions.
Adapts to change and completes other duties as assigned by manager.
Consistently achieves annual performance objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of high school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
A minimum of five years’ experience in warehouse operations or logistics is required.
Must be forklift certified.
Must have proven leadership and conflict resolution experience.
Computer competency required. Must be willing to learn new technology and be familiar with UPS, FedEx, and other shippers means of transacting business.
Must have a positive attitude and ability to teach. Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks and quickly resolve issues.
