About the Role:
The Driver Non-CDL position is essential for ensuring the timely and safe transportation of materials and products within the manufacturing facility and to various locations as needed. This role requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the production process by delivering necessary supplies and finished goods efficiently. Additionally, this position involves maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections, contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of the company. Ultimately, the Driver Non-CDL will help facilitate smooth logistics operations, ensuring that the manufacturing process runs without interruption.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a driving or logistics role.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Transport materials and products to designated locations in a timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
May have to travel to distant locations and occasional overnight stays (@ once or twice a month).
