Job Description
ProTrade is actively seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to the South-Central USA region. ProTrade is for looking candidates who thrive in hands-on field work and technical troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform field service and support for industrial mechanical and fluid-handling/pumping systems
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues at customer sites
Collaborate with contractors, tradespeople, engineers, and in-house departments to ensure service excellence
Maintain accurate records of labor hours, service reports, and cost tracking for assigned projects
Operate independently while managing assigned territory workload
Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
Requirements:
Formal training or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, or Construction trades (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
5–7 years of experience in preventative/predictive maintenance in industrial settings
Solid knowledge of fabrication, welding, mechanical/electrical controls, and project estimation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficient in web-based and computer systems
Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills
Must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel up to 25%
Physical/Work Conditions:
Work will be performed in industrial environments and outdoor job sites
Must be able to stand, climb, pull, and lift heavy equipment and components
Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical tasks is expected
