Wire Cutter / Warehouse

Location: Carrollton, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00 PM

We're looking for a hands-on Wire Room Associate to join our growing team at our Carrollton warehouse. This is a contract-to-hire role with a strong path to permanent employment based on performance and attendance.

️ Key Responsibilities

Operate wire cutting equipment to measure, cut, and spool wire to customer specifications

Use a reel machine or coiler to cut specific footage per ticket

Pull wire from racks using reachlift equipment

Assemble and fulfill wire cut orders for shipping

Pack, tag, and stage wire cuts by truck route

Load/unload company trucks and common carriers

Verify incoming and outgoing wire orders for accuracy

Use handheld scanner for order picking and putaway in WMS system

Prepare outbound shipments via UPS, LTL, or company freight

Identify and correct misplaced or mislabeled wire in warehouse locations

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Wire Cutter in a warehouse or electrical supply environment that is ready for the next step.

Strong knowledge of wire types, measurements, and handling techniques.

Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP preferred).

Ability to read and interpret packing slips, order forms, and shipping documentation.

Leadership skills and ability to coach others while working as part of a high-performing team.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Must be career-focused, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude.

Clear background and verifiable work history required.
