Rotating Equipment Mechanic / Pump Mechanic
Superior Pump and Motor is looking for a detail-oriented, self-sufficient Pump, Motor, and Controls Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical skills and rotating equipment skills with a focus on high-quality work, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain pumps, motors, VFDs, cooling towers, and related controls.
Perform troubleshooting, motor rebuilds, and controller/VFD installations.
Safely use tools, equipment, and rigging.
Complete job documentation (work tickets, photos, time sheets).
Qualifications:
5+ years of pump and motor repair experience.
Experience with soldering/brazing and fire pump systems (preferred).
Clean driver’s license, ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 60 days.
