Office Manager

Southfield, MI

$65k-75k

We have an immediate need for a full-time permanent Office Manager (this person will not be an Executive Assistant). We are open to having someone on a contract basis until we find a permanent replacement, as we would like to get someone in as soon as possible.

Experience Required: 10+ years (we are looking for a seasoned person with experience). This position does not include direct supervision of employees.

On Site Mon thru Fri, 40 hrs. per week (some flexibility in start time/end time).

Oversee of all company events (i.e., monthly employee birthday luncheons, quarterly company-wide BBQ/luncheon, holiday party (book caterers, menu selection, set up, clean up, company announcements, etc.).

Answer company phone line.

Clean, maintain and stock employee kitchen (coffee, supplies, etc.) and load/unload dishwasher.

Maintain conference rooms (tidy up after meetings, etc.).

Oversee plant heating/cooling.

Maintain office supplies, order materials as needed, and track usage.

Maintain office vendors (i.e., landscaping, fall clean up, snow removal, employee uniforms, vending machines, etc.).

Back-up Customer Service as needed.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Self-driven

Takes Initiative

Reliable

Self-aware

Highly motivated

10+ years of experience in an office administrative/manager role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is a must!
