Within Keysight Labs' Mixed-Signal ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) Design section our groups in Colorado Springs design leading edge analog and RF/mmWave signal conditioning ICs that address a variety of market applications (including 5G, 6G, Quantum Computing, and Automotive), partnering with our Centers of Excellence and various Solutions Groups. This critical position has an opportunity to shape Keysight's future product architectures and impact the world around us by creating and delivering new test & measurement capability.
We have an opportunity for an Analog & Microwave IC Design Manager to join our Colorado Springs team. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Manages a high-performance engineering team of IC designers that design in various platforms (InP, GaAs, GaN, SiGe/BiCMOS, among others) that deliver breakthrough RF/mmWave products
Executes the R&D effort to support various RF/mmWave Keysight products:
defines project scope, goals and deliverables
defines tasks and assesses required resources
manages budgets and tracks deliverables
Communicates and balances appropriate tradeoffs to optimize technology choices, schedule, performance, and cost (including SWAPP-C improvements)
Not only executes projects to plan, but continues to work to reduce development time and improve time to market
Works individually and with the team to identify opportunities for personal, professional and technical development
Participates in developing and implements departmental plans to support Keysight's long-term growth and strategic goals
Uses customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate product concepts
Participates in strategic planning to define technical direction to reach new business objectives
Helps develop and maintain internal partner/customer relationships
Supports transition of product designs and enhancements to full production/delivery

B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field is required with minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in leading and/or managing projects for analog and/or mmWave products from concept phase to ship release
Proven technical leadership or technical management skills to drive change and influence teams and partners towards higher levels of execution, return, and productivity
Candidate must possess a solid understanding of analog and/or mmWave circuit design and related packaging technologies
Experience in communicating program progress and status to customer/partner divisions and instilling customer confidence
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and to formally track details, issues, and risks of multiple projects
Experience with managing and reporting project budgets and schedules
Experience managing a high-performance engineering team is a plus
Experience managing and/or designing a new product platform
Practical knowledge of integrated circuit processes, devices, and performance limiters
Proven ability to lead and motivate professionals to meet aggressive, challenging objectives
The position will be based in Colorado Springs, CO. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.

Colorado Springs, CO pay range: MIN $141,750.00 - MAX $236,250.00
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
